Steve Edwards
Steve Edwards is a veteran of the Commercial Real Estate Industry. He is recognized and respected as a top producer in Northern California. His portfolio includes completed transactions with tenants and landlords from the Bay Area and Coastal Regions, throughout the Valley, to the state's Oregon and Nevada borders. During his college career he worked as a real estate intern and upon graduating from Sacramento State University in 1988, entered the Real Estate Industry field full time. Since 1994 Steve has consistently been a top producer for Potter-Taylor and Company having been awarded Retail Broker of the Year for 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005. In addition, in 2004 and 2005 he achieved the designated status of overall Broker of the Year. This designation is awarded to the top producing Commercial Real Estate Broker in the Sacramento Valley.
While at Potter-Taylor his achievements include leasing over 4,100,000 square feet of retail space and selling and/or leasing in excess of $650,000,000 of commercial property. Steve has completed over 75 Wal-Mart and Sam's Club transactions in addition to 18 Lowe's and 15 Kohl's. Throughout his career Steve has also worked with many mid sized Tenant's, including but not limited to: Ross Stores, TJ Maxx Home Goods, Trader Joes, Pier One and World Market. He has completed many out parcel transactions with Fast food users, retailers and financial institutions. His expertise includes all phases of site selection, acquisition and negotiation. His coordination in working with consultants, engineers, land use attorneys, city planners and politicians has led to his success. He provides feasibility analysis for acquisition, marketing and disposition. Steve balances his career by working with Tenants and Developers.
